For 2023, San Francisco Pride sought to inspire the LGBTQIA+ community to celebrate more than ever, while continuing their historical journey to equality and acceptance.

Footprint: 8 blocks by 8 blocks
Attendance: 250,000 guests
Hundreds of exhibitors

This year’s theme was “Looking Back and Moving Forward.” The client wanted to uplevel mainstage talent, concessions and security while maintaining many aspects of the event that have historically worked well: 6 community Stages, 1 mainstage, exhibitors, etc. With acts such as Hailey Kioko and Princess Nokia, the mainstage generated more interest than ever before.

In support of some of the many communities that bring color to the city, JJLA built out Leather Alley, Faerie Freedom Village, Sundance: specific areas created to generate awareness and safe spaces for those seeking connections and exploring curiosities.

With food trucks, bars, and activations from sponsors like Ikea, DIageo/Smirnoff, Nissan, Red Bull, Benefit Cosmetics, JJLA provided endless opportunities for guests to relax, refuel and enjoy the festivities.
