JJLA came home to West Hollywood to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of West Hollywood Community Housing Corporation (WHCHC) and its accomplishments with an outdoor, celebratory fundraiser.
The evening began at The Lot in West Hollywood, with a view of one of WHCHC’s affordable housing buildings during a social cocktail hour. Guests mingled over specialty cocktails. Lounges were adorned with origami flowers created by seniors participating in WHCHC programs.
As cocktail hour wound down, guests turned the corner of the Writer’s Courtyard and served a delicious dinner created by Global Cuisine. After dinner, Patricia Arquette was honored for her community activism during a touching outdoor program, which shared her spotlight with at-home heroes: organization leaders and local West Hollywood residents.
